Last night the New American Leadership Academy, administered by the Department of Neighborhoods, met for a class on civic engagement.
Many curious cohort members asked questions of Columbus' Inspector General, learning the purpose of the office and how to navigate it.
Neighborhoods also presented about our department and all we have to offer residents.
Thank you to everyone who came out--whether it was to teach or learn. Every day, a little more understanding goes a long way in making Columbus an even greater place to live.

Last night was an exceptional evening discussing personal differences, likenesses and experiences with the diaspora around the world.
Individual encounters were expressed. The audience was filled with understanding and appreciation as they listened wide-eyed and interested. The stories were different, yet alike in so many ways.
Ubuntu: Unity Conversations Across Cultures sessions seem to always inspire thought-provoking conversation and new camaraderie.
We hope to see you at our Next Ubuntu session in three months. Stay tuned for more info.

We were thrilled to be invited by the Public Service Data Solutions team and Right of Way Investigators to present this deep-dive session.
We accomplished a lot together. 311 delivered a comprehensive overview refresher of the OneView platform that 311 operates, detailing exactly how to use it and the critical information it provides.
Attendees walked away with a robust refresher course under their belts, alongside advanced tips and tricks to maximize use for their daily workflows.
A huge thank you to the Department of Public Services for their engagement and excellent questions. We love helping our internal partners unlock the full power of data solutions!
