PTSA's biggest fundraiser of the year is selling parking on our lot for Ohio State home football games. There are two ways you can help:

Parent and student volunteers are wanted for each home game, so you are welcome to sign up as a family. If your student belongs to a club that wants to request funds from the PTSA, encourage them to volunteer as a group with other club members.

Tell your friends to park at Metro: If you know Buckeye fans attending a home game, encourage them to park at Metro. It's a short walk to the stadium!

Going to the spring game or have friends who are? Park at Metro for $10, all funds to go towards Prom and the dance committee.

Taste of metro update! In lieu of our annual Taste of Metro celebration, we are creating a virtual cook book! Contact Isabel Lewis at [email protected] with questions and submissions!

2) Type the recipe and cooking
instructions on a slide
3) If available, include photos of the dish
its preparation, or your family enjoying it
4) Include any other description,
information, or cultural significance
about why this dish is important to your
family and how you've enjoyed it
5) Include the type of dish (main, side,
dessert, etc) and any dietary classification
(gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc)

Volunteer opportunities! If you are looking for a way to help our awesome educators, please sign up to come in for lunch set up and supervision, after school pickup, and/or helping lead middle school clubs! The sign ups (in comments) have more information for each position.

We will be hosting an informational and orientation zoom prior to first date for all volunteers and those interested.

We hope you’ll join us for our October meeting, Thursday 10/7 at 6:30 pm, in person or via zoom ( link in comments!)

The Optimistic October calendar is full of great ideas to help you stay positive throughout the month. Give them a try!

Metro parents/guardians are invited to a Technology Bootcamp Sept. 23 from 6-7pm to learn about Virtual Days, online safety and how to use PowerSchool & Schoology. There will be a "genius bar" from 5:15-6pm. Masks required.
