The Bernie's Toasted Tee project was started by 3 friends who are "Bernie super fans"- David, Jan and Luke. Looking for a way to support the #FeelTheBern movement, they had the crazy idea of making "Feel the Bern" shirts that are actually burned as an attention-getting way for Bernie supporters to spark conversations with voters and show that they are fired up for Bernie in 2016! After the first b
atch of flame-burned tees was made for friends, people went crazy for the shirts and they quickly realized they had a hot way to help get people talking about Bernie's message. Working to rapidly grow their small scale passion project into an operation to crank out 5,000 limited edition tees, tanks, totes and sweatshirts, they launched this website to spread the word. Proceeds from sales will help fund a planned February national tour of "Bernie's Toasted Tees" events where they will make shirts for Bernie supporters for free at campaign events, house parties and rallies.
