We are excited to announce that our previous longest standing board chair, Mayor Chris Amorose Groomes will now be leading our Central Ohio Passenger Rail Council. MORPC is now accepting applications for federal transportation funding to support projects like roads, sidewalks, bikeways, and transit improvements across Central Ohio.
Approximately $109 million is expected to be available for projects planned between 2027–2033, making now the time to start planning and applying.

Key deadlines:
- Project updates: July 10
- Screening applications: July 17
- Final applications: September 25
