🚌 Converse Transit Election: Know What’s on the Ballot

On November 3, 2026, Converse voters will decide whether the City continues participating in VIA Metropolitan Transit.

β€’ Continued participation: Current VIA service and the City’s one-half-cent sales tax allocation to VIA would continue.
β€’ Discontinued participation: The City proposes replacing VIA service with Alamo Regional Transit (ART), providing reservation-based, curb-to-curb transportation throughout Converse and connections to VIA at Randolph Park & Ride. Under the proposal, the ART portion of each trip would be fare-free.

A little planning can make a big difference when severe weather or unexpected outages happen. Preparedness matters year-round.

Take a moment to prepare your household. Keep essential supplies on hand, know how to report an outage, and understand what to do if your electric or natural gas service is interrupted. Always stay away from downed power lines and report them to CPS Energy.

Find preparedness and safety tips at cpsenergy.com/prepare.
