Happy Independence Day 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate 250 years of American independence and honor the enduring spirit of freedom, democracy, and service that defines our nation.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women of our Armed Forces, our veterans, and all who have sacrificed throughout the past 250 years to protect the freedoms we enjoy today. Your courage and dedication have made this great nation possible.

This year also marks a special milestone as Township Officials of Cook County proudly celebrates 60 years of serving and supporting the townships of Cook County. Since 1966, we have remained committed to strengthening local government and serving our communities.

From all of us at Township Officials of Cook County, we wish you and your family a safe, happy, and memorable Independence Day.

Happy 4th of July, Happy 250th Birthday, America, and congratulations to Township Officials of Cook County on 60 years of service! 🇺🇸🎆

Juneteenth, also referred to as National Freedom Day, is a time to recognize the end of slavery in America.

It officially became a state holiday in June of 2021 to commemorate the date in 1865, when the last enslaved Black people in the U.S. learned that they were free.

Our Annual Conference was a huge success last night as we celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Township Officials of Cook County. Over 200 Township Officials, staff, and guests attended, making it one of the largest conferences ever. We can’t say thank you enough to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success.

Special thank you to State Representative Brad Stephens & State Senator Rob Martwick for taking part in our legislative forum and sharing their time and insights.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our generous sponsors: the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer, Property Care Management, and Autus Group, your support helped make this milestone event possible.

A heartfelt thank you to TOCC President Calvin Jordan and the Board of Directors for their leadership, dedication, and continued support in making our 60th anniversary conference such a success.
