Monster Mash Dance Party!
They did the MASH, the Monster Mash! We can’t forget our students’ Monster Mash Dance Party in P.E. — our CCPS students had all the moves on Halloween! A big shout-out to our PTO volunteers for keeping the fun going and doing the mash all day long.

CCPS Pumpkin Patch Experience!
Our students were thrilled to attend their very own CCPS Pumpkin Patch, where each student had the chance to pick the perfect pumpkin to take home for Halloween. This year, CCPS provided pumpkins for all students, creating a memorable, hands-on experience that brought the spirit of the season to life. Visiting the pumpkin patch quickly became a student favorite and a wonderful way to celebrate Halloween together!

A Magical Halloween at CCPS!
What better way to celebrate Halloween than with a magic show at CCPS! Our students practiced their listening skills and were fully engaged throughout the fabulous Lathem Magic Show. Their laughter and amazement filled the room as they watched each trick unfold — truly a student favorite!

We are so thankful to our CCPS PTO and volunteers for sponsoring this exciting and memorable event.

School-Wide Book Character Day!
Our school-wide dress-up theme, chosen by teachers and staff, was Book Character Day—a fun way to celebrate our strong commitment to cross-curricular learning across all areas, including a creative twist for Halloween!

Students and staff brought beloved classic stories to life with colorful costumes and enthusiasm. Here’s each group's theme.

Pre-K: The Day the Crayons Quit

Kindergarten: How the Crayons Saved the Rainbow

First Grade: Junie B. Jones

Second Grade: Lilly from the Kevin Henkes books

Office Staff: Pajama Day

Resource Teachers: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Lunchroom Staff: Care Bears

Nurses: Alice in Wonderland

A big congratulations to our CCPS First Grade Teachers, winners of the Best Group Costume Award! Their creativity and teamwork truly captured the best of CCPS

Closing Out Red Ribbon Week!
We wrapped up Red Ribbon Week in style with Athleisure Wear and Favorite Team Day. Our second graders had a fantastic time at in Pumpkin Stations, where they explored the life cycle of a pumpkin, taste-tested pumpkin pie, and built creative structures using candy.

These activities not only made learning fun, but also helped students strengthen social and emotional skills by working together, practicing patience, and learning to communicate effectively. What a wonderful way to combine teamwork, creativity, and learning as we celebrated the week!
