Lewisville Grand Theater Sculpture Garden Reception - 05-17-26.

A great space for our rotating sculptures on a one year and a two basis.

This is a great utilization of this space and eventually might provide a space that can be rented out.

This activates a space that previously was underutilized and provides residents another opportunity to take in Art while waiting on events inside the Lewisville Grand Theater.

A big tip of the hat to good folks of Lewisville, Texas -- to two of the best sidemen in the business: Joe Reed and Kurt Stowe, and especially to the fans for making our Saturday night at the Lewisville Grand Theater one we'll never forget.

Great event and great Charity supporting LLELA.

Some great events happening this weekend. This is the first of several posts.

Went briefly to a neighborhood party at Teal Court and saw their 12 Annual Neighborhood Crawfish Boil. This is what we want in Lewisville. Neighbors talking to each other and creating a sense of Community. This is the real Lewisville, not that online chatter that you see going on. We have started drafting the 5 Big Moves for the Lewisville 2035 vision plan.

These Big Moves address systems that can have the biggest impact on our City’s future and were developed from resident ideas!

They are:
* Economic Engines
* Lifelong Livability
* Distinct Destinations
* Integrated Infrastructure
* Natural Networks

Let's talk about Economic Engines first. This move reflects the need to support small businesses as well as attract larger employers. From over 8,000 touchpoints with the community, supporting small businesses was the most supported issue. The Lewisville 2035 vision plan will reflect that input through this Big Move. Come learn more at the Community Vision Workshop on Thursday, June 18, 5-8 p.m. at Lewisville Thrive.
