Today was a powerful reminder of what community truly means. Through Books with a Badge, proudly sponsored by Credible Scores, Officer T. Brown of the Glenn Heights Police Department, fellow City of Glenn Heights Police Officers, and the Glenn Heights Fire Department, we had the privilege of sponsoring 9 incredible students from Schupman Elementary School in Red Oak ISD with items from the Scholastic Book Fair.
Each student was able to select books and educational items that spark imagination, build knowledge, and encourage a lifelong love for reading.
Moments like these show our youth that the people behind the badge and uniform are here to support, encourage, and invest in their future.
Books with a Badge is more than a program—it’s a mission to strengthen relationships between first responders and the children in our community, while ensuring every child has access to the joy and opportunity that reading provides.
