Some of you may know that our friends at Compassion Corsicana experienced a fire last night. They are a shelter for women and children.

Our hearts are heavy for the 5 women and 8 kids, plus the house management who lost everything.

Looking for a job? Make the short drive to Terrell this afternoon (July 23, from 1–3pm). Our friends with Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas are hosting a LARGE hiring event that will feature employers from across Kaufman, Rockwall, Ellis, and Navarro counties!

Reading about poverty is one thing. But feeling the pressure of limited resources, endless red tape, and impossible choices is another. COPE creates a space where participants don’t just learn about poverty, they experience a version of it. This direct exposure cultivates empathy (not pity) and transforms how people see and interact with those in need. We highly encourage EVERYONE to attend this FREE activity❤️
