WOODROW EXTENDS HISTORIC ACADEMIC STREAK IN NATIONAL RANKINGS

Woodrow Wilson High School has officially extended its legacy of academic excellence, securing a spot on the usnews Best High Schools list for the 11th consecutive year. Out of the roughly 27,000 public high schools evaluated across the country, this positions Woodrow in the top 16% of all public secondary schools nationwide.

As a premier comprehensive, non-magnet neighborhood high school, driven by its highly competitive international.baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and extensive Advanced Placement offerings, Woodrow achieved a College Readiness Score of 49.6/100, with 65% of its student body participating in advanced or examinations.

This 11-year streak marks the continuation of decades of national recognition for the Dallas campus. Woodrow has consistently ranked among the elite public institutions in the United States, including:

* The Washington Post Challenge Index: Reaching a historical peak of #328 nationally in 2016 (top 2% of participating schools), following previous high placements at #431 nationally in 2012 (top 9%) and #588 nationally in 2011.

* Newsweek America's Best High Schools: Climbing as high as #422 nationally after establishing its footprint on the national stage at #637 nationally in 2009, placing it in the top 6% of public institutions at the time.
