FT. WORTH I'M ON MY WAY!

From a boy I’ve seen life through blurred lenses. Most of what was reality around me was masked by my mother and father. I truly believe they wanted a better life for me than what they provided but honestly I sort of liked how things were. The house we lived in was old and worn but it felt like home. Being sheltered sometimes opens you up to the big bad wolf called life way too early.
It wasn’t always easy being born to a mother who didn’t have to strength to hold me or scold me. At times it made me feel lonely and unloved but later in life you realize she had an affliction not an addiction. That woman loved me way beyond her ability to show it. Being a father now I can’t imagine her pain of having a child she couldn’t care for. A mother’s love for her child is as strong as steel. I see that in my wife and the love she has for our children.
God’s plan is never clearly defined. You spend most of your life walking and stepping in potholes of despair, depression, disadvantages but you learn to keep walking. Now I see clearly. The darkness has faded away. The light of the Lord shines through the clouds in my life.
