The City of Forney Engineering Department will host a public meeting and open house regarding the Northside Elevated Tank and Connecting Water Lines Project on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the City Hall Annex Council Chambers located at 101 E. Main Street.
The project includes the construction of a new elevated water storage tank and connecting water lines located within the City of Forney. The project is intended to improve the water systemโs reliability and capacity on the north side of Forney.
The site identified for the elevated tank has been approved for this use. Due to continued growth, the project is needed to help provide additional water supply capacity and address longstanding concerns related to low water pressure in portions of North Forney.
Residents are invited to attend the open house to learn more about the project, view preliminary information, ask questions, and speak with City staff and project representatives.
Additional project information will be shared at https://www.forneytx.gov/m/newsflash/home/detail/826
