The Rockwall Dog Park would like to remind all dog owners using the park that small children should be held or kept within arms length - Many dogs are not used to children and they are here to play with each other not unknown children.
The dogs are playing hard and can easily knock over, jump on or unintentionally hurt a small person. Children are best left in a safer environment while your dog plays!
No child should EVER approach a dog they do not know. Recommended age for children in the park is 12 and over, with an adult.
The Dog Park is not an extension of the playground for children (or adults) and it is not a petting zoo - For everyone’s safety PLEASE take note of the Park rules before entering.

Please take a moment to revisit the rules as you enter..... All are important for our safety and the safety of our pets.
Reminder for all dog owners utilizing the Park -
Toys are NOT allowed in the park, bring your dog to play with dogs - You two can play together later - Toys create aggression and no one wants that!
Children under 13 need to be very closely supervised, (always within a parents physical reach!) they should never try to play with the dogs, the dogs are here to play with dogs.
Lets keep the dogs and the kids safe!
The Dog Park will be closed for turf maintenance March 28th to April 29th - Please plan ahead!
