Spring into Reading and our Spring Book It event this week at Midtown Plaza was enjoyed by all with free books from Half Price Books, fun music from Deejay Fred, free facepainting and free delicious refreshments from Monarca Fruteria courtesy of Midtown Improvement District Thank you Dallas Police Department and Northeast Patrol Division and Midtown Blues joining us for the fun early springtime celebration for our community’s youth

Families in need in the Midtown District received free toys on Dec 23 at Vickery Park Branch Library thanks to the generosity of Toys For Tots DFW and all donors who gave to provide the toys. Midtown Improvement District was honored to be the donation facilitator and distribution not for profit organization for more than 3,000 toys including 40 bikes to families and children to be able to celebrate Christmas and the holidays with presents and smiles. The property owners of Midtown also provided all attendees free food from Monarca and Harvestpark Coffee and holiday entertainment from Deejay Fred and The Sessions artist group from Booker T Washington School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas ISD. Santa was there of course!
