Today is International Biodiversity Day. What is biodiversity and how can you plan a role in celebrating? Master Naturalist Phillip Prichard shares some ideas on our Paulding Vine Blog.

Biodiversity: What can you do to help? | Paulding Vine Biodiversity is the extraordinary variety of life on Earth — from genes and species to ecosystems and the valuable functions they perform. E.O. Wilson, the noted biologist and author who coined the term “biodiversity,” explains it as “the very stuff of life.”

The Paulding County Extension Office will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.

We are excited to host our 3rd Family Garden Party with Paulding County Paulding County Georgia Master Gardener Extension Volunteers this year. Join us in our gardens for a morning of fun gardening activities for the family on May 30 from 10 am until 12 pm.

The countdown is on, and we are getting closer to our THIRD ANNUAL Family Garden Party hosted by Paulding County Extension Master Gardeners and Paulding County UGA Extension-Paulding County! We will have FREE, FUN activities in each of our on-site gardens, giveaways, door prizes and more! Don't forget, kids can turn in their completed activity passport for a free pop from King of Pops Dallas.
