Thank you, London Knight for your incredible Eagle Scout project of the Little Library donated to CASA of Ellis County. This beautiful addition will have a lasting impact on children and families in our community, providing access to books, inspiration, and a love of learning for years to come.

London, your leadership, vision, and dedication to giving back truly embodies what it means to be an Eagle Scout. Having young leaders like you in our community is so important, and your efforts will continue to make a difference in our community and with the children we serve!

We also want to give a big thank you to Midlothian Boy Scout Troop 512, Assistant Scout Master John Hixson and the Boy Scouts who helped bring this project to life. We are especially grateful to Scott Hixson, Marek Mathews, and Lucas Bleeker for their hard work and support in the installation of the library.

We thoroughly enjoyed attending the ECHO Cinco De Mayo festival this past Saturday, successfully sharing the impact of CASA with the community and garnering fifteen potential new volunteer contacts.

This week our dedicated staff and advocates attended the Every Victim Every Time 2026 Conference in Bryan, Texas. It was an inspiring and impactful conference that strengthened our efforts to better serve through collaboration, education and advocacy. What an absolutely amazing time we had at our Bunco Brunch & Bubbly! Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the fun while raising money for our CASA Kiddos. Your smiles, laughter, enthusiasm and excitement brightened a rainy day and we even made Bunco Believers out of our first-time players! We are so grateful for the outpouring support for our CASA program and the foster care children we serve.

The Graily venue was a perfectly beautiful setting, and the yummy brunch catered by La Ti Dough and Co. and Co. was delicious!
