2223 W. Jefferson Blvd | The Dame of L.O. Daniel
This 1905 beauty built by L.O. Daniel (the namesake of the neighboring community) was purchased in 2016 to house the Law Firm of Kelly, Durham & Pittard, LLP. The goal was to preserve the entire first floor for common-use space, and renovate floors to and three for office use (12 offices upstairs in total).
Amidst substantial renovation--including creating a brand new north entrance at the back of the house to match the grand Jefferson street front entryway--the new construction was impressively crafted to match the original woodwork of the house. The renovations are so true to period that you can hardly tell the original light fixtures and hardware from their new friends-- the staircases, bookshelves and fireplace.
