Dallas Police Department - Southeast Division

Officer Arthur is one of the Neighborhood Police Officers from the Southeast Patrol Division NPO Unit and today is his birthday!

The Legend Mr. Kim, has retired after 30 years of service to the residents of Dallas. Mr. Kim worked as a professional staff member with the Dallas Police Department in the Community Affairs Division. Thank you Mr. Kim for your service, knowledge and all the great memories you created with your peers and all the people you served. Enjoy the next chapter in your life.

Great turnout today at the Coffee with Cops Event. Chief Mora addressed concerns from the residents. Dallas 311, Code Enforcement, Dallas County Health and Human Services, District 5 Councilman Resendez, Dallas Police Department Community Affairs, Unidos, Todos Unidos and South East Neighborhood Police Officers were in attendance interacting with the residents.

Great turnout this evening at T.R. Hoover Multi-Purpose Center who had their first community meeting of 2026. Chief Mora and Code Compliance Officer Watts were in attendance.

This morning we had our first Community Wellness Walk in Bonton. We got to learn about members of the community and they got to learn about the officers that serve their community.

Fireworks and celebratory gunfire may seem harmless, but they put lives at risk. They also generate a high volume of 9-1-1 calls, which can delay our officers from responding to life-threatening emergencies.

Please help us keep our community safe.
