Summer is finally here and our FREE Summer Camps are right around the corner! ☀️🌳🦜
Join us to learn all about the cool and beautiful nature the Trinity River Audubon Center has to offer. Our summer camps will be filled with fun adventures and interactive indoor and outdoor activities.
All camps will be Tuesday - Friday from 8:30am - 2:00pm. The first two weeks are for kids ages 8-12. The third and final week is for teens ages 13-18.

To everyone who joined us for Scissor-Tails and Cocktails — thank you for making the evening so special. Summer adventures are returning to TRAC! ☀️🌿
Join us for our TRAC Summer Camps, where campers will explore the great outdoors, discover local wildlife, learn about nature and conservation, and make unforgettable memories along the way!
This summer we will be offering:
🌱 A 2-week camp for ages 8–12
🦅 A 1-week teen camp for ages 13–18
From hiking trails and hands-on activities to environmental exploration and outdoor fun, there’s something for every young nature lover. Whether your camper is curious about wildlife, enjoys being outside, or wants to connect with nature in a new way, TRAC Summer Camp is the place to be this summer!

We're BEYOND excited to partner with our friends from the Perot Museum to host Summer Camp this year at Trinity River Audubon Center!
Our Summer Discovery Camp will be 4 weeks long, starting Tuesday, June 23rd, with each week being a different theme, wrapping up on Friday, July 17th. You can sign up for each week, or for the whole camp!

Of the 29 different kinds of reptile documented at the Audubon Center, these are 5 of most elusive. Each of these species has been observed by our visitors less than 10 times on iNaturalist. Despite being so elusive, visitors have still managed to get some stunning pictures!
