Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for breathing the breath of life into me as you have with all people who have ever lived...

And the Lord God formed man
of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living being.
Genesis 2:7

Your Holy Spirit has secured my soul for Your day of my final deliverance when I will no longer wrestle with this world nor my flesh, sins and circumstances.

Until then, please strengthen my desire and boldness to live in the power of Your Holy Spirit each and every day...

Now may the God of hope
fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
that you may abound in hope
by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Please guide me so that I will walk each step with You today.

Today I join with my Christian sisters and brothers around the world to worship You and to lift Jesus up throughout the earth, as Jesus spoke...

Dear Lord God,

Without Jesus I was lost.

With Jesus as my Lord and Savior I am Your child and You are my loving heavenly Father, my Good Shepherd and my King.

You have given me life eternal and I am able to live in Your abundant grace each day.

Today I thank You for giving to me Your mercy, Your grace and Your love.

Please use me to draw others to You. I pray that every person I meet today will experience Your loving presence, that they will come to know the abundant life they can have now and for eternity with You.

I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ who suffer today, that they will rest in You and be encouraged in the knowledge that You are alive and with them and You will be with them now and for eternity, as Jesus told us...

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5

I ask that you show me how to use my life to bless others and to introduce them to You.

I choose to follow You every day and in every circumstance.

I love You and I want to share Your love with all others.

And I thank You for Jesus, The Son of the Living God.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I want to welcome and bless children as You did...

..Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me
and do not hinder them,
for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 19:14

Today I pray for the children in my family, in my community and for children all around the world.

The pressures and stresses that have been brought on by social media alone are strong.

Please intervene in these children’s lives and hearts so that they may come to know You and Your love.

May their identity be grounded in You.

May they know that their worth comes from You.

I lift up the children that are lonely, or are victims of bullying or are under the immense pressure to “fit in.”

Let Your Holy Spirit minister to each one and protect their hearts and minds.

Please help me to be an encouragement to the children in my life.

Please send men and women of God to teach and disciple each child.

I pray for a generation of children that will grow into strong followers of Jesus and who will work towards making the world a place full of God’s grace and love.

Please help each child to grow as Jesus grew...

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature,
and in favor with God and men.
Luke 2:52
