The Dallas Park and Recreation Department would like to invite citizens to the Eloise Lundy Park Centennial on Saturday, June 20th, 11:00a.m.-2:00p.m..The family-friendly event will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the park formally known as Oak Cliff Negro Park, located at 1228 Reverend CBT Smith Street, Dallas, Texas 75203. The celebration will include a commemorative ceremony, free refreshments, music, entertainment, games, recreation activities, and presentations by City of Dallas services providers.

On Saturday May 9th, The Dallas Park and Recreation Department celebrated the completion of the White Rock Trail extension with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The Dallas Park and Recreation Department’s commitment to environmental self-stewardship means managing parklands and resources so they can be used and enjoyed now and in the future. The Park Maintenance Services Division has established natural and wildflower areas within the Dallas park and trail system to enhance the cityscape while reducing the environmental impact of mowing large areas.
