If you were lucky enough to score a seat at the adult cooking series, "What's Cooking with Miss Yari," you know exactly how incredible she is. Miss Yari has spent the last few months taking our neighborhood on a delicious journey all around the world, right from the library!

From exploring the flavors of Japan 🇯🇵 and France 🇫🇷 to diving into the culinary traditions of Eastern Europe 🥟 and the Caribbean 🏝️, she brought culture, community, and amazing tastes together in the best possible way.

Every great story has one and this year, ours comes with a bit of construction.

Due to ongoing updates at the library, we’re rescheduling the Lakewood Library Art Show to Spring 2027. While we’ll miss it this year, this extra time means we can come back with an even more inspiring (and less dusty 😉) experience for everyone.

🖌️ Think of it as a creative pause…with a big comeback ahead.

📅 Dates will be announced closer to Spring 2027, so stay tuned!
