HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM
Seniors age 60 and older or disabled (any age) who own and occupy their home and meet certain income and other guidelines may qualify for repairs to deteriorated conditions on their home.
The program focuses on HUD approved rehabilitation standards and health/safety concerns. Remodeling and cosmetic updates are not allowed.

Join us for a Development Open House Workshop where public-private partnership opportunities with the City of Grand Prairie and the tools available to revitalize properties and neighborhoods will be discussed. Two dates, same workshop: Feb 18 or 19.
We will discuss the City of Grand Prairie’s efforts to promote rehabilitation of existing multifamily developments and to encourage the preservation of affordable units throughout the City. In this Open House, the City will outline its priority goals and present available tools to the development community. Owners of existing properties are encouraged to engage in open dialogue about possible tools and incentives for the preservation of existing affordable housing.
