Our staff learned a lot from your seining demonstration (a method of fishing with a net) and bug-kicking (stirring up bottom-dwelling critters to collect for sampling) in the creek.

We appreciate everyone who joined us in Pelican Bay, Texas, to discuss the Sandy Beach Ground Water Plume site. We provided an overview of site conditions, current remediation actions, and planned future actions to about 40 community members and responded to their thoughtful questions.

Special thanks to the City of Pelican Bay, Texas, for hosting and promoting the event, including sharing the public meeting flyer through social media and the City’s water utility bill!
