🚛 RECYCLING SERVICE UPDATE 🚛

CWD has notified us that one of its recycling trucks is currently out of service. As a result, some recycling routes may not be completed today.

If your recycling was not collected, please leave your cart at the curb. CWD crews will return tomorrow morning (May 29, 2026) to complete the missed pickups.

📢 PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE 📢

The City of McLendon-Chisholm will hold public hearings on proposed zoning changes and the proposed Parkland Dedication Master Plan Ordinance on June 16 and June 23, 2026. Residents are encouraged to attend and provide input.

Please join us in congratulating newly elected Councilmember Michael Hermansen, who was officially sworn in during last night’s City Council meeting. We are grateful for his willingness to serve our community and look forward to his leadership and contributions to the City. Congratulations, Councilmember Hermansen!

Starting in June through the end of August, trash and recycling pickup by Community Waste Disposal will begin at 6:00 a.m. due to summer heat conditions.

Please have carts curbside by 6:00 a.m. on your service day. ♻️🚛

Yesterday, members of the Comprehensive Plan Update Committee toured Rockwall County as part of the ongoing effort to help shape the future of McLendon-Chisholm.
