Here is a cool opportunity from an SMU Law student:

My name is Patrick Kennedy and I am a third year law student here at the SMU law school. I am writing to you today to see if any of your members in the Political Science Symposium would be interested in participating as mock trial jurors this coming Saturday, April 5th.

There are two types of cases being held this Saturday, a civil case involving a su***de, and a criminal case involving a murder. The cases are being tried by law students who are completing a course in trial work. As jurors, anyone who volunteers actually gets to decide the case and determine which team of students wins. You will act just like a jury, and the case is treated like an actual case.

The cases will be held this coming Saturday, April 5th, at the George Allen, Sr. Civil Courthouse down on 600 Commerce Street, from 8:30 - about 1:00. You can participate because you might think it is fun, or, if one of your professors will give you extra credit for participating, my professors have agreed to write a letter verifying your participation. Also, this would be good to put in a law school application.

If you or any of your members are interested, please let me know. We'd be very happy to have ya'll!

His email is [email protected] if any of you are interested
