Proposition A is the most cost-effective way for the City of Dallas to meet new state requirements for funding pensions.
Proposition A will allow Dallas the opportunity for a more favorable amortization rate that will save the city an additional $300 million over 30 years or $12 million per year. Proposition A does not increase retirement benefits. It only guarantees benefits employees have contributed to and earned. Political advertising paid for by VOTE YES FOR PROPOSITION A
