We are continuing Dyslexia Awareness Month with Week 2: Technology – How Can Technology Increase My Superpower? This week focuses on how assistive technology tools can support students’ reading, writing, and overall confidence.

We will introduce the Learning Ally App (located in the Student/Staff Portal) and guide students through activities that help them understand how audiobooks and supportive technology can strengthen their literacy skills.

We are also sharing this week’s featured video:

Austin to Austin! 🚌🏛️ Yesterday’s field trip was a SUCCESS! Our fourth graders made wonderful memories while exploring the Texas State Capitol, learning about our state’s history and government, and seeing their classroom learning come to life! ❤️✨

Watching their excitement as they experienced the Capitol for the first time was such a joy! We are so proud of how they represented Austin Elementary with respect, curiosity, and Lion pride! 🦁

Thank you, parents, for trusting us to take your kiddos on this adventure. A special thank-you to everyone who helped make this memorable day possible!
