According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration distracted driving is dangerous, claiming 3,308 lives in 2022 alone. There was an estimated nearly 290,000 people injured in motor vehicle crashes involving distracted drivers. Almost 20 percent of those killed in distracted driving related crashes were people outside the vehicle – pedestrians, cyclists, and others on the road.
When you’re behind the wheel, the most important thing is the task in front of you – not a text, call, post, picture, music, other passengers, or anything else that takes your mind and eyes off the road.
