WORD HARD WEDNESDAY:
What are the most challenging obstacles you face in your business? How can we help connect you to the right person or resource to help make your job easier?
TAKE NOTE TUESDAY: Appointments
1) Confirm the time & address of the location of signing: many times, escrow officers will provide the property address being sold or purchased. Please be sure not to get it mixed up so that you end up at the right location for the closing.
2) Confirm who will be signing and that they have valid identification: Occasionally, someone may have to sign power of attorney. Make sure the signer is aware that they must have valid ID even though they are signing on someone elses behalf.
3) Schedule 1-2 hours apart: During a signing many unexpected delays may happen. Give yourself & the signers enough time to successfully complete the signing of all documents without rushing. Don't forget to double check your work!

MINDSET MONDAY:
Here are 3 quick tips for process servers:
1) Blend in: sometimes your attire can give it away that you're going to be serving them documents. For expected difficult serves, try wearing clothing that they'd least expect for someone to be serving legal documents in.
2) Out of sight: when serving at someone's home, refrain from parking your car in front of the parties house for safety purposes.
3) Don't say too much: sometime's when the person your looking to serve isn't available, family members or associates may tip them off that your coming their way.
Our role as a process server is to properly deliver documents to the right parties, notifying them when they're involved in a legal proceeding. There may be plenty, but not all process servers handle situations professionally. We fully understand how important it is to comply & carry out service because failure to do so can delay a case or trigger a motion for dismissal.
