I am always blown away by the architecture of the Bird of Paradise shrub. The way those delicate, fern-like leaves perfectly balance the sudden eruption of bright yellow blossoms and long red stamens is pure design genius. It looks like nature’s own exotic tapestry woven right into the lawn.
