Dear Trojan Community,

We are reaching out to ask for your support for one of our school families who tragically lost their home and all of their belongings in a house fire this past week. Tragically, they also lost their beloved family pets—their five dogs: Zoey, Chewie, Percy, Dolly, and Louie, and Ryder's bird, Kiwi.

While we cannot replace what was lost, we can come together as a community to help them rebuild step-by-step.

How You Can Help:
1. Monetary Donations Direct monetary contributions can be made through MySchoolBucks https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ver2/prdembd?ref=ZZHYBZOP3T04D04_ZZ6COQL3WJABJC3
(100% of these funds will go directly toward essential living expenses).
2. Clothing & Essential Sizes: Please see attachment for sizes and specifications
3. Drop-Off Locations for Physical Items Any physical donations can be dropped off at WJC or DMS.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support for this family during an extraordinarily difficult time.
Warmly,
W. J. Carroll Trojan Family

What an incredible week to be a Trojan at W.J. Carroll Middle School! Here’s a look back at everything our amazing students and staff accomplished this week:

Motivation Monday: We kicked off the week by celebrating 10 hardworking Trojans who earned Perfect Attendance certificates for their dedication to being in class every day!

Tactile Tuesday: Our 7th-grade science classes took over the library, getting hands-on with biology by constructing creative cell models out of Play-Doh!

Winning Wednesday: Huge shoutout to our football Trojans for bringing home a big WIN on the field! Way to play with heart, team!

Taste-Test Thursday: Career Explorations classes had a special visit from a guest speaker at Chobani Headquarters. Students learned about career paths —and got to enjoy some delicious free samples!

Festive Friday: We wrapped up the week with so much to celebrate:
• 10 outstanding students were recognized for demonstrating The Trojan Way!
• The BCBE Secondary Supervisors "Prize Patrol" stopped by to deliver special awards and plaques!
• We showered our incredible custodial team with love and gratitude for Custodian Appreciation Day!

Thank you to our teachers, staff, students, community partners, and parents for making WJC such a wonderful place to be. Have a great weekend!
