January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. It's estimated that at least 60% of the Children and Youth in our care at Progress Ranch have been trafficked. Specifically, they have experienced s*x trafficking. This is an extraordinary problem that deserves attention and resources. We are grateful for all our partners as we work together to support our kids in real time 24/7.

Last night’s Fits & Kicks Clothing Drive was a heartwarming success!

🧥👟 Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we collected much-needed clothing to support foster youth during their time of transition.

A special highlight of the evening was the presence of our honorary agency mascot, Dahlia, who charmed everyone with her friendly energy and wagging tail. She truly brought the spirit of joy and comfort to the event.

Of course, no celebration is complete without something sweet! The beautifully decorated cookies added a festive touch and were enjoyed by all who attended.

We are so grateful to everyone who contributed, participated, and helped make this event a meaningful experience for our community. Together, we’re making a difference! 💙

✨ A New Chapter for Progress Ranch! ✨

On Thursday night, we proudly celebrated the grand opening of our new offices in Sacramento, marking an exciting milestone in our continuing mission to provide trauma-informed care for foster youth in the greater Sacramento region. The event, held on World Mental Health Day, highlighted the critical importance of mental health support for vulnerable children and teens.

We were honored to have strong community support, with local leaders and partners joining us, including Mayor Pro Tem Karina Talamantes, Deputy County Executive of Social Services Chevon Kothari, the Natomas Chamber, and representation from Senator Ashby's office. Their presence emphasized our shared commitment to addressing the mental health needs of foster youth.

With our move to Sacramento, Progress Ranch is ready to make an even greater impact in the lives of children and families across the region. 💙

The WHO is raising awareness about how safe, healthy workplaces support mental health, while poor conditions like stigma and harassment can harm well-being and productivity.
