We are so grateful to be recipients of the She Gave grant. It's amazing to see what happens when a community comes together. 💙

What happens when women come together with a shared purpose? Our community becomes stronger.

In 2026, the women of She Gave awarded $30,000 in grants to five local organizations making a difference right here in Macon County.

And we're just getting started.

With more than 100 women already involved, She Gave is proving that collective generosity can create meaningful change.

Now we're inviting YOU to be part of it in 2027.

She Gave is about more than giving. It's about connecting with other women, learning about the needs in our community and having a direct voice in where our grants are awarded.

The need for safe shelter in our community continues to grow, and God’s Shelter of Love is seeing that need firsthand.

In September 2025, the shelter provided 271 safe beds. This past September, that number rose to 583, a 115% increase in services provided in just one year.

At this year’s Blue Jean Ball on October 8, we came together to support the work of providing emergency shelter and hope to women and children in our community. But that work continues long after the event ends.

As the need grows, community support matters more than ever. Every gift helps us continue serving women and children when they need it most.

The Blue Jean Ball was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a cause that matters.

On World Homelessness Day, we’re giving thanks for everyone who came together at this year’s Blue Jean Ball.

We are still feeling so much gratitude after last night’s Blue Jean Ball! We had a wonderful time enjoying dinner, the raffle, line dancing, and a very special appearance by a horse!

More importantly, we are so thankful for everyone who came out to support God’s Shelter of Love and our mission to help women and children experiencing homelessness in our community. Every donation makes a difference and helps provide a safe place, support, and hope for those who need it most.

If you weren’t able to join us last night but would still like to support our mission, there is always an opportunity to give. Every act of generosity helps us continue this important work and make a difference in the lives of women and children in our community.
