Don’t Strip Our Rights

🕯️D17🕯️: International Day to End Violence Against SWrs. We honor and mourn the lives lost at the hands of violence against SWrs. We stand in solidarity with those who have survived violence while working, and with those who continue to face stigma and criminalization.

Justice for the SWr community is an unequivocal end to the violence, stigma, and criminalization that neglects our humanity. We call on legislators, community members, and allied organizations to actively support decriminalization, labor protections, and standing for an end to the oppression of the SWrs. In a post-FOSTA-SESTA country, amid expanding censorship, where SWrs are incarcerated and m*rdered, whose cases often go unsolved- a blind eye can no longer be turned to our labor, and our history no longer erased. Long live all the workers no longer with us. Power to those who survive. Power to those who fight.

Amazing news coming out of Victoria, Australia today! Victorian Parliament passed a SW Decriminalization Bill! Such a beautiful tone to set on the global stage. Advocacy for the US’ turn for Decrim both federally and on state levels will continue and (hopefully) follow in their footsteps.

Here at Don’t Strip Our Rights, we are PRO union and PRO workers rights and PRO protest. ESPECIALLY for educators, who are underpaid and overworked but yet teach the future bright minds of the coming generations. We fully stand against the doxxing, bullying, and silencing of the educators in Douglas County here in CO. We support the educators fighting for their voice, rights, and proper treatment and pay right now in CO and hope you do the same.
