Colorado State Politics
The idea behind federalism is that each state has its own independent government under the umbrella of the United States of America. Our story is unique to our state and we are responsible for what happens within its borders. The benefit of federalism is that it provides a layer of experimentation and dialogue that cannot happen in a government that has a strong central government. A saying within political science is that “all politics is local”, so let us discuss our local politics and generate solutions that are unique to us and perhaps set the example for how things should be done.
