Boulder’s assault weapons ban unenforceable for time being after district court ruling
Boulder will not be enforcing the city’s assault weapons ban after a district court ruled that a state statute preempts local governments from restricting gun sales and possession.

Boulder County abuses conservation easements (again).
To protect the land, the county wants to commercially develop it. Conservation easements have been reversed, removed, and even traded. All at taxpayer expense.

Thinking about transportation taxes?
To***co Taxes all state on the ballot that they may be used for whatever the Legislature deems possible. This consistently turned out to be TRANSPORTATION.
The taxes on to***co fills gas tanks on state trucks.
Look closely at the ballot language and realize that many New Taxes are not earmarked for the stated purpose.

The General Assembly is looking for an extra $500 million a year to support Gov. Jared Polis's 10-year plan, which was announced last year. The legislature could pass a fee of some sort, but lawmakers would have to refer a tax hike to the ballot, because of the state's Taxpayer's Bill of Rights.
