Even the Democrats know it is time for DeGette to be gone.

The Democrats plan has always been to take away our Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR) refunds.

It is all a game by the Democrats to bypass the Taxpaper Bill of Rights (TABOR). In this instance using the ploy "this is for the kids." But wait, the last vote included SNAP benefits. But they are still short??? See the following link.
“O.M.G.”: Why Colorado voters could be asked a fourth time to fund school meals The $95 million a year voters approved when they passed Proposition MM in November is expected to generate enough to fund the Health School Meals for All program. But it might still go back to the ballot.

Initiative 181 is a new and the latest attack on the Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR) and your pocketbook. The initiative is sponsored by the Bell Policy Center led by Democrat and former state representative Chris DeGruy Kennedy. It took the group three attempts before they got it by the Colorado Title Board.
'Progressive' tax hike clears big hurdle on road to Colorado ballot - Complete Colorado Proposed Initiative #181 would replace Colorado’s flat income tax with a so-called 'progressive' tax

These two propositions were always a bait and switch scam intended to attack the Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR). And most voters fell for it because "it was for the children."
Colorado voters sold false bill of goods with Props LL and MM - Complete Colorado Many voters were led to believe needy kids would no longer receive 'free' lunches if Props LL and MM failed.

Colorado Democrats continue to take your hard earned money while attacking the Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR) at the same time. Colorado workers will not see the full benefit of the OBBBA tax cuts.
From Newsweek -
Several states [including Colorado| and Washington, D.C., have already acted to keep key parts of the OBBBA out of their own tax codes, at least for now. Their decisions mean that taxpayers will not receive state-level versions of the new federal breaks, but all relevant taxpayers will be eligible to claim them on their federal tax returns.
Colorado has rejected the no-tax-on-overtime provision. A new line on the state tax form—“Excess federal deduction for overtime pay”—will require taxpayers to report the federally excluded amount and add it back on their state return.

Follow the money and you will know there is something inherently bad about the "Vibrant Denver" ballot questions. With a current $200 million budget deficit for 2026 resulting in the layoffs of 169 city employees, can we trust the mayor to manage such projects?
Big donors like Michael Bloomberg dominate 2025 election battles in Denver The unlimited contributions are raising the stakes and fueling a campaign blitz ahead of the Nov. 4 election.
