It's the last week of school before summer break! Learn to make fairy cakes, meet an author, attend the Grown-Up Book Fair, and so much more this week at DMPL.

One week until our Summer Reading program begins! Make your plans to visit any DMPL location beginning on Saturday, June 6 to sign up! All kids will get a free book to keep when they sign up for the challenge. (Link in comments)

TGIF! Miffy wants to know what are you reading?

Join us in celebrating Tina Brooks as she retires after 47 years of service at DMPL!

She began her career as a Page at the East Side Library in 1977. Since then, she worked at the old Central Library, the South Side Library, and has been at the North Side Library as a Clerk since July 2012.

The library is a better place because Tina has worked here, and her daily presence will be missed. Tina's last day will be May 31, so if you happen to see her at the library make sure to tell her congratulations.
