Unfortunately the elm 🌳 in the back had passed on a year or more ago... a branch has fallen this summer in a storm and damages the fence a bit so I thought it might be best to have my friends John and Jeremy take down the other big limbs before we were about to get nailed by the next big snow ❄️ storm.
Might as well prevent the thing from falling into Fred and Stacy’s or Jordan’s yard! They did great and had fun too 🤩
As John climbed up the Sycamore, to prune a dead limb of my truck, I couldn’t help but think, the monkeys are here!

Everybody is posting snow pics ⛄️ so here’s mine... ❄️ But I gotta be honest... I Love NOT shoveling my Driveway 😆
( But I do have great neighbors to help with the sidewalk 👍🏼🏡 it’s been super fun to experiment... So far I now know I can borrow an fancy new electric snowblower from John, hire the crew doing Angie’s Driveway, make a deal with Matthew & his Old faithful Toro just 3 doors down, or if needed hire my “brotha from anotha/Motha” just across the street, Mr. reliable himself, Brook Burgess 👋🏼...)
Here’s why...
After the previous snowfall, I asked Mathew to help me with my sidewalk... he said he and the family were working to make ends meet... I know not everyone feels this way but I do know what thats like.
So today, I asked him to help me with my sidewalk and a Reverends Driveway for a cash payment. I Shared 1/2 dozen farm fresh eggs from Blooming Prairie Nursery and shoveled Matthews driveway apron when he wasn’t looking... ❄️🤫
What comes around goes around. I think everyone went home happy & will sleep well...
