Together, we continue to build unity, opportunity, and hope through Ubuntu — “I Am Because We Are.”

Attending these graduation ceremonies reminds us why Genesis Youth Foundation exists and why this work matters so much.

Many of these young men first came to Genesis at a time in their lives when they needed guidance, direction, support, and people who believed in them. Over the years, we have watched them grow, overcome challenges, mature into strong young men, and continue pushing forward even through difficult seasons.

To now see them walking across the stage as high school graduates is emotional and powerful. It is more than just receiving a diploma. It is seeing prayers answered, lives transformed, and purpose unfolding right before our eyes.

One of the most special parts of these graduation celebrations is reconnecting with so many of our Genesis alumni, both youth and parents. Seeing them return, still connected to this foundation and continuing to grow, reminds us that this is bigger than a program. This is family. This is community. This is God’s work in action.

We are so grateful to God for allowing us to walk alongside these young people throughout their journey and for the impact He continues to make through Genesis Youth Foundation. Their stories are filled with resilience, hope, faith, and determination, and we know this is only the beginning for them.

Join us on June 27th as we celebrate our 17th Anniversary and End of Year Celebration, where we will honor and celebrate the incredible accomplishments of all of our young people and send off our graduates as they begin their college journey. We look forward to celebrating together as a community.

Yesterday was another busy day of celebration! From the noon East High School graduation, to the 3 PM North High ceremony, and finishing with the 5 PM Hoover High graduation ceremony, all of our youth successfully completed their high school journey.
It was indeed a long and busy day, but every moment was worth it. We are incredibly proud of these young people for reaching this milestone. It is not easy being young today while navigating life’s many challenges, and their perseverance and determination deserve to be celebrated.
We look forward to celebrating even more graduates this coming week. Stay tuned! 🎓❤️

Congratulations to Mary and Maria for helping their VSA U12 Girls team earn second place in Kansas City this weekend! We are so proud of our girls for being such great ambassadors for the Genesis Youth Foundation.

A special thank you to the team manager, Julie, for her incredible support throughout the tournament. We also appreciate Coach Isaac and Director Carlos for their partnership and dedication to the girls’ success both on and off the field.

Keep shining, girls, the future is bright!

Wow, we received 101 applications for our 2026 Pre-Nursing Internship Program!

Thank you to every student who applied, every person who shared our posts, and every community partner who supported this opportunity.

After a careful selection process, we will be choosing 18 students to join this year’s program and begin their journey toward a future in healthcare.
