Dr. Oz joined Mariannette Miller-Meeks at the UIowa Children’s Hospital to try and sell the Rural Health Transformation Program.

Here’s what the Iowa Hospital Association President and CEO has to say about the program: “Hospitals continue to face permanent reductions in Medicaid directed payments. Rural hospitals are being asked to take on additional projects and administrative responsibilities in exchange for temporary funding that does not provide long-term fiscal stability.”
