The 6th Precinct had our Coffee with a Cop and Meet and Greet, hosted by Bishop Kenneth Tate of Body of Christ International Church. The community got to meet our new captain, Matthew Bray, Board of Police Commissioner for District 7, Victoria Camille and Deputy District Manager for D-1 Stephen Westbrooks.
Our citizens were able to ask questions after the introductions and they were very informative. Commander Vernal Newson also recognized Mr. Lynn McNeal from City Council President Tate's office and Ms. Ladon Davis from Councilman McCampbell's office for their unwavering support of the community. Mr. Jerry Springs and Mr. Brandon Whitfield were also recognized but weren't able to be in attendance.

Captain Hampton will be surely missed by the 6th precinct family. We wish her well, and we have no doubt, with her talent and experience we will be saying Commander Hampton some day. ππβοΈ

Happy Holidays
On Christmas π the 6th precinct were able to surprise two families with presents. π Sharing joy & laughter with the NPOβs from the precinct. π
These gifts were shared as a way to show care, support, especially for families and children during the holiday season. The gesture helped bring smiles, strengthen community bonds, and remind everyone of the importance of kindness and togetherness at Christmas. π
