This week Vilma Escamilla Duran, who is running to be on school board joined our LatinX Youth Council to listen to them about what they want to see at their schools. This group of youth have been learning a lot about the power of their voice and now they are putting it into action!! 🗣

Our new Amigos Childcare workers are going through all the necessary trainings to be able to care for children in our latchkey after-school program which will be starting in the fall 2026. It will be affordable $10-20 a day, Spanish Language immersion program at the Manuel Reyes center in Southwest Detroit.
