This material Monday features a new addition to the collection- Dezarc ProLine Hardness Samples!

These kits act as physical reference tools for engineers, industrial designers, and product managers. They allow teams to accurately feel and specify rubberized material properties during product development—making it much easier to decide on the perfect firmness for a shoe sole, power tool grip, or keyboard button.

The Dezarc ProLine includes molded elastomer (silicone rubber) tactile samples that span a wide Shore A hardness scale, including A40, A50, A70, and A80. Each sample often features different mold polishing and sandblasting finishes (like high gloss to dull texture) to demonstrate surface feels.

"Blue Mythologies is a phenomenal work of art in its own right. In it, Carol Mavor unpacks the meaning and use of the color blue in many works of art, films, and books and strings together her own narrative for what blue is. She explores the sad, confusing, and even predatory nature of the color as it's associated with raw human emotion. I am fascinated by the history and importance of colors, so finding this book at the beginning of my career here was really cool! Mavor's prose is very poetic and almost convoluted but ultimately very entertaining and necessary to capture the depth of what she is writing about. If you end up reading the book, or any other blue related thing, let me know! I'd love to blab for a bit about blue!! 💙💙" - Lydia
