RISE Policy recently discussed our Governing for Equity and Inclusion initiative with the City of San Diego's Human Relations Commission. We are happy to share that the commission approved a letter in support of our work at their September meeting and that some of the commissioners will be involved in helping with the initiative moving forward!
What is the initiative about? It looks at how cities around the nation are revisiting policies and processes that impact equity and inclusion and explores viable opportunities in San Diego.
