Rochelle Riley: High school graduate, 79, has advice for Class of '11 | Detroit Free Press | freep.c Katherine Dawkins is celebrating a week of graduations. A great-great-grandniece graduated from high school last Sunday. Her great-granddaughter graduated from high school on Tuesday. And, at 79, Katherine Dawkins will graduate from high school on Saturday. She could not be more excited.

"Yesterday we presented our rationale for operating the Woodward Light Rail Transit system in the City of Detroit. City Council will reconvene with an Adjourned Session on Monday to vote on approval of Bonds and TIGER Grant to support the project. We are excited and hopeful for a positive vote by Council."
