Between gas, groceries, healthcare, housing, and more, Michiganders are struggling to make ends meet.

Rep. Tom Barrett promised to help families and lower costs. Instead, he cut taxes for billionaires and big corporations, shredded our social safety net, and raised the cost of healthcare, electricity, gas, food, and more.

Now, we’ve got the receipt to prove it.

👉 Swipe through to read the full receipt and see how Tom Barrett made the cost of living crisis worse for Michigan families.

As America approaches its 250th anniversary, we celebrate the workers, families, veterans, small business owners, and community leaders who make our country strong. The next chapter of the American story should be one where every family has the opportunity to succeed and every community can thrive. Happy July 4th!

Juneteenth marks the day freedom finally reached the last enslaved Americans in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It's a celebration of freedom, resilience, and progress, while also serving as a reminder that the work of expanding opportunity for every American continues.

Today, honoring Juneteenth means protecting economic opportunity, strengthening our democracy, and ensuring every family has the freedom to build a better future.

The American flag represents freedom, democracy and opportunity for everyone.

Flag Day is a reminder that patriotism means protecting our freedoms, respecting democracy and bringing people together — not dividing Americans for political gain.

We knew Huizenga was in town — so we showed up! 🗣️ For Our Future, local veterans organizations, the Kalamazoo Visibility Brigade, and Indivisible groups across MI-4 came together to organize the accountability protest outside a fundraising event featuring Rep. Huizenga. He’s notorious for refusing to meet with constituents — so when we found out where he’d be, we mobilized. This is what constituent power looks like. 💪

Pride Month is about freedom, dignity and community.

While MAGA politicians push division and attacks on LGBTQ+ Americans, we’re focused on protecting freedoms, lowering costs and building a country where everyone can thrive.

Happy Pride Month from For Our Future. 🌈

This Memorial Day, we’re grateful for every American who served and sacrificed for our democracy. Veterans and their families deserve leaders who will protect the benefits and services they earned, not politicians willing to jeopardize critical programs for partisan politics.

Today is International Workers’ Day! While May Day is honored around the world, it began right here in the US. In 1886, more than 300,000 workers went on strike in support of an 8 hour workday. These workers were not powerful people. They did not have lobbyists or PACs. What they had was each other and the willingness to show up.

We honor that legacy by taking to the streets and organizing. We’re organizing canvasses, town halls, phone banks, and more—and now is the perfect time to jump into action. Your voice is how we move the needle.
