We are blessed to have the opportunity to host a financial workshop by Ryan Mack. Please call the mission for more details.
Thank you, all that were able to attend the meeting last Saturday. We had a great turnout and a lot was accomplished. Pastor Jerome Farris explained in detail the program that has been instituted at the Mission and informed us on the initial success. He also informed us of the new partnership with a local nonprofit that will enable our residents to gain retail experience, confidence in the workplace environment and learn more about job seeking skills.
We also learned about the upcoming celebration / reception called the "Rising Stars" that will take place on Saturday, October 8th at 2:00 p.m. It will probably be about an hour in length and we will be able to see and hear, some of the accomplishments of the new program. This celebration is open to our supporters of the mission.
Again, let me say that of the attendance, we had several new people express desire to officially join the auxiliary and some express the desire to volunteer directly at the mission. Praise God!
Women's Auxilary meeting this Saturday at 10am is open to the public. If you have a heart for mission work and would like to join, contact the mission for details.
